Powering up the studio. Get it!

Matt should arrive shortly.  Mitch in another hour or so.  We are convening yet again at my humble abode to do some recording, listening, drinking, laughing, etc.  Since Sunday, I have had the whole house to myself.  The wife and kids are out of town and its the perfect opportunity to step it up a notch in our recording process.  While I miss my family dearly (Happy Birthday mom!!!), my "other" family will be here to make sure I'm on task.

So far, we have about 4 tracks that are shaping up nicely.  Still trying to decide what to cut and what to add.  But, its been a lot of fun.  And stressful, but we are beginning to see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.  We came up with a new tune a couple of weeks ago and its working title is "Joely".  Really looking forward to solidifying this idea.  I think we are going to embrace our silly side on this song.  Kind of has a Billy Joel vibe to it and Mitch is diligently working on the lyrics.

In other words....stay tuned!  We are eager to finish the project and maybe have a CD release party late November/early December.  We'll see.
